Here’s my daughter waiting for her turn to get in the game. This happens to you too.
When you’re called into the game by your leader, manager, or colleague, are you ready?
๐ Sometimes this happens when you are on a panel.
๐ Or you’re one of the experts on a Zoom call who might chime in during Q&A.
๐ Maybe you are presenting to the Board of Directors.
——
I’ve been working with a lot of clients on this over the last week and it’s critical.
We need to think out AHEAD of time what the questions might be.
Think AHEAD about what you will do when you first step foot on the court and join the game.
Come out strong.
Come out loud.
Have something STICKY that you want to leave in the mind of your audience.
DON’T ramble, don’t over explain, and stay out of the weeds.
Make the most of your chance to get in the game and put points on the board for your team.
Have you been called onto the court lately?
How’d you do? Could you use an extra coach on the sidelines?
Let On Point get you off the bench and make you the star of the game!
