⚾️ So I keep thinking about the new MLB Pitch Clock. Early data shows it shaves about 30 min off the game! I keep tossing around pros and cons.
It got me thinking about the VALUE of time saved…what we do with it…And what it all means.
(We’ve cut BOD meetings for a school board I’m on in HALF, from 4.5 hrs to 2.0! With 2 changes to how we run meetings.. It’s crazy!)
Our aim with our executive clients is to help them be more EFFICIENT with messaging – in presentations, webinars, 1-on-1s with investors and LPs … well, ALL meetings they lead.

Time saved matters for any industry, even MLB. Here’s how time saved translates to baseball games:
⚾️ Improved fan experience: Shorter games = a more enjoyable experience for fans who don’t want to spend all day at the ballpark. (I kind of like that, though…)
⚾️ Increased pace of play: Shorter games means a faster pace of play. This makes games more exciting and engaging.
⚾️ Reduced player fatigue: For pitchers who may throw fewer pitches in a game, it may reduce injury and improve player health.
⚾️ Increased revenue potential: It may lead to increased revenue via more advertising opportunities during breaks in the action.
How long do you want to sit in your next BOD meeting? Or regular meeting? Or seminar? Be efficient. Get to the Point. And STAY On Point.
