My mom stayed home with us when I was a kid. Maybe yours did, too? So that was my plan. And I did that.
We have 4 kids, 5.5 years apart. Being a mom was all I ever wanted, from the time I was young.
By the time our 4th was born, I felt like I hit the jackpot when it came to dreams I had for a family. Working didn’t cross my mind even once.
I got tricked, you might say!
And in the best way. On Point is like a second dream come true. A dream God had in mind all along.
In 2015, On Point Communications, LLC began from nothing, and out of nowhere.
A professional speaker asked me to coach her on her TEDx talk the next month; we were having coffee and I mentioned my passion for engineering a message – a storyline until it’s “just right.”
She nailed that talk, told me to quit looking for a part time job, and to do this instead.
So I did. And now I’m a mom who works alongside my husband to put our kids through college and save for our own big dreams. We work with leaders at Google, Dupont, in big Pharma, and in VC – all on a global scale.
I pinch myself every day. I’m so darn lucky.
My kids see me doing something I love almost as much as I love our family: Transforming leaders, most in science and tech, to be Top 5% Executive Communicators.
